WIN STREAK REACHES FIVE, REGIS RALLIES PAST JOHN JAY

NEW YORK, N.Y. – The Regis College men's volleyball team stayed hot after earning their fifth straight victory sweeping the John Jay College of Criminal Justice 3-0 (25-20, 25-17, 25-21) Wednesday evening in The Doghouse. The victory propels the Pride to 8-9 on the year and the loss drops the Bloodhounds to 11-6.

Regis' strong hitting continued as the team as a whole hit a combined .373 throughout the match compared to JJ's .132 percentage. The Pride presence at the net continued as they blocked 12 attempted kills while the Bloodhounds mustered nine.

Sean Bisnett (Oxnard, Calif.) led the Crimson and Gold with a team-best 11 kills while hitting .400 on the night. The junior captain was also strong on the defensive side of the net as he racked up a team leading eight digs. Teammate Brett Krahl (Santa Clarita, Calif.) recorded nine kills, a .429 hitting percentage and one block, while Brandon Tordoff (Coventry, R.I.) made six kills and a team best three total blocks.

Zach Sindoni (Haverhill, Mass.) got the start at setter and handed out a team high 23 assists while Joe Hanrahan (Coventry, R.I.) racked up 17 helpers.

The Pride will look to carry their momentum back from the Big Apple when they welcome non-conference opponent Johnson & Wales (R.I.) to campus on Tuesday for a 6:00 p.m. showdown with the Wildcats
