WESTON, Mass. – Regis College freshman Brett Krahl (Santa Clarita, Calif.) has been named the New England Collegiate Conference Rookie of the Week in Men's Volleyball; it was announced on Monday morning. This is the third time this season Krahl has received NECC honors.

Krahl started and played in two matches for the Pride this past week while leading his team to a 2-0 record. He had 15 kills, eight blocks and five digs during the two games. Against Daniel Webster, Krahl played four sets, recorded six kills, five blocks and two digs. Versus Elms, Krahl had nine kills, three blocks and three digs against the Blazers.

The Pride will return to action Monday night for a match against conference foe Lesley at 6:00 p.m.
