NASHUA, N.H. – Regis College picked up its fourth-straight win with a 3-1 victory over Daniel Webster College on Wednesday night in a New England Collegiate Conference men's volleyball matchup. 

Regis prevailed with set scores of 25-12, 18-25, 25-21 and 26-24 and have now six of their last seven in improving to 9-14 overall (5-4 NECC) while DWC dropped to 4-12 overall (4-6 NECC).

Sean Bisnett (Oxnard, Calif.) led Regis with 12 kills and 12 digs while Ryan Conte (Oxnard, Calif. posted 10 kills and 10 digs. Ryan Husher (Camarillo, Calif.) handed out 35 assists while Renato Rosas chipped in with 12 digs.

Charlie Hendrix (Kane'ohe, Haw.) led the Eagles with a match-high 18 kills and added 12 digs and four total blocks while Tommy Reyes (Providence, R.I.) posted 10 kills. Ryan Howdeshell (Fairbanks, Alaska) posted 33 assists, 16 digs, four blocks, and four aces for DWC. Kyle Lovering (Manchester, N.H.) and Darrien Mason (Farmington, Conn.) posted four kills apiece.

Hendrix, who combined for 22.5 total points, became the all-time points leader in DWC program history in the fourth and final set with his 1,318th. He surpassed former teammate Joe Walz '14 who finished his career with 1,317.

Regis finished with advantages in kills (44-38), assists (39-37), and digs (52-50) while DWC held the advantages in aces (7-2) and total blocks (14-12).

Regis hit .318 in the opening set behind two kills apiece from Brett Krahl (Santa Clarita, Calif.), Brandon Tordoff (Coventry, R.I.) and Ryan Conte while Hendrix picked up three for DWC. The Eagles, who hit a brutal -.138 in the opener, rebounded quickly in the second to hit .231 and make it a match. Reyes knocked down four kills on nine attempts while Bisnett picked up four for Regis, which cooled to hit .029.

The Pride pulled back in front in the third hitting .125 as Conte and Josiah Roque (Oxnard, Calif.) posted four kills and Bisnett had three. Hendrix would knock down five in the third.

The pivotal fourth saw 14 ties and six lead changes. Hendrix went off for eight kills while Reyes had four and Bisnett countered with four. The Eagles trailed 22-21, rallied to jump ahead 23-22 and moved to within a point for forcing a fifth at 24-23 after a Reyes kill.

But a Tordoff kill tied it and after an Eagle attack error gave the Pride a 25-24 lead, Bisnett closed it with his final kill of the night for the 26-24 final.

Up next for the Pride is a 10:00 a.m. meeting with Elms College on Saturday morning.
