WESTON, Mass. – Regis College freshman Ryan Husher (Camarillo, Calif.) has been named the New England Collegiate Conference Rookie of the Week in Men's Volleyball; it was announced on Monday morning. This is the second time this season Husher has earned NECC Rookie honors. Husher's efforts last week also earned him the Corvias Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference North Region Co-Rookie of the Week Award.

Husher did a little bit of everything for the Pride this week, helping lead Regis to a 3-0 mark in games, including a pair of NECC wins. Against Elms, Husher had eight kills and five digs in a 3-0 sweep. He followed that up with six kills, 31 assists, four digs, and seven total blocks in a 3-2 victory against Newbury. He wrapped up the week with a double-double of 10 kills, 21 assists, two digs, and three more blocks in a 3-0 sweep of CCNY.

The Pride will travel to Daniel Webster on Wednesday March 25th at 7:00 p.m. for a conference showdown with the Eagles.
