KRAHL RECEIVES NECC ROOKIE AWARD

WESTON, Mass. – Regis College freshman Brett Krahl (Santa Clarita, Calif.) has been named the New England Collegiate Conference Rookie of the Week in Men's Volleyball; it was announced on Monday morning. This is the second time this season Krahl has received NECC honors.

Krahl played in four matches for the Pride this past week. He recorded 29 kills, 15 total blocks, four digs and dished out an assist while scoring 37 points and accumulating a .389 hitting percentage during the four game span. Krahl had his best game during a 3-0 victory versus Sage as he recorded a season-high 10 kills, hitting .467 while making five blocks. Krahl had his best hitting percentage of the week during a 3-0 victory versus Lesley, when he recorded nine kills and hit .538.

The Pride will return to action this Tuesday, March 17th when the Crimson and Gold host conference foe Elms in Weston with game-time slated for 7:00 p.m.
