PRIDE CAPTURE SECOND CONSECUTIVE NECC SPORTSMANSHIP AWARD

WESTON, Mass. - The Regis College men's volleyball team has earned the New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) Team Sportsmanship Award, it was announced by the conference's offices on Monday. Determined by a vote of the league's coaches, this marks the second consecutive season that the Pride have earned the award.

Regis recently wrapped up the season with a 2-19 record, highlighted by two wins over NECC opponent Lesley University.

The Pride were led by freshman middle blocker Joe Coye (Plaistow, N.H.), who finished the season with 123 kills, 15 service aces, and 31 total blocks (20 BS, 11 BA). His solo blocks total ranked first in the NECC. Junior setter Angel Aguilar (Silver Springs, Md.) led Regis with 161 assists on the season, which ranked in the top ten in the conference.
