Rain Showers Halt Men's Tennis After Doubles Play

WESTON, Mass. - The Regis (Mass.) men's tennis team hosted Division II Saint Anselm on Thursday at the Regis Tennis Center, a match that would end up being postponed due to inclement weather.

The Hawks led 2-1 after doubles play before the thunder, lightening and later the rain came to halt proceedings. Cam Charbonneau (Guilford, Conn.) and Johnny Pallotta (Bay Shore, N.Y.) fell on the two court 8-0 but the Pride tied the match after Chris Harrow (North Reading, Mass.) and Luke Horton (Bass Harbor, Maine) delivered an 8-2 win at the one. Saint Anselm would head to singles play with the lead, however, as Tim Miller (North Attleboro, Mass.) and Nolan Bebarta (Danville, Conn.) lost 8-5 at third doubles.

No reschedule date has been set.
