HARROW, HORTON SWEEP MEN’S TENNIS AWARDS

WESTON, Mass. – Regis College sophomore Chris Harrow (North Reading, Mass.) has been named this week's New England Collegiate Conference men's tennis Player of the Week, while teammate Luke Horton (Bass Harbor, Maine) has been named the Rookie of the Week, it was announced Monday afternoon.

This is the second time this season Harrow and Horton have swept the Men's Tennis weekly honor roll.

Harrow led the Pride to a 2-0 conference record this past week. Harrow went 2-0 at no. 1 singles only losing two total points in four sets and partnered up with Horton at no. 1 doubles for an 8-0 sweep against Lesley and a 8-4 win versus Wheelock.

Horton played at no. 2 singles, earned a 6-0, 6-0 sweep against Lesley and a hard fought 6-3, 6-2 win against Wheelock. In doubles play he partnered up with Harrow at no. 1 doubles and swept through Lesley 8-0 and beat Wheelock 8-4.

Regis wraps up their season today at Becker with match time set for 3:00 p.m. The Pride await to see their opponent in the NECC Semifinals on Saturday.
