WESTON, Mass. – Regis College senior Michael Beluch (Lynn, Mass.) has been named this week's New England Collegiate Conference men's tennis Player of the Week, while teammate Chris Harrow (North Reading, Mass.) has been named the Rookie of the Week, it was announced Monday morning.

Beluch began the week with a 6-0, 6-1, win at No. 1 singles and teamed with Harrow for a 8-1 win at No. 1 doubles in the Pride's 9-0 sweep over Wheelock. Beluch picked up another win at No. 1 singles with a 6-4, 6-4 decision as part of a 9-0 victory over Newbury. Beluch and Harrow also partnered up against Newbury at No. 1 doubles and defeated their opponents 8-3 which led to the Pride's first conference win of the season.

Besides both victories at No. 1 doubles, Harrow also had success at No. 2 singles during the week. Against Wheelock, Harrow swept his counterpart in two sets 6-2, 6-0 and during the weekend against Newbury, Harrow again was effective at No. 2 singles defeating his opponent 4-6, 6-3, and 10-6.

The Pride continues their conference schedule when they travel to conference opponent Mitchell on Thursday, March 26th with game-time set for 3:30 p.m.
