BERDICHEVSKY TO ADD TALENT TO MEN'S TENNIS TEAM

WESTON, Mass.—Coach Ciarleglio is expecting a major improvement in next year’s team as Daniel Berdichevsky, Top 10 Nationally ranked badminton player, joins the men’s tennis roster!  Getting Berdichevsky is a huge plus for the men’s program.

He has been playing both badminton and tennis since age 7.  Although nationally ranked in badminton, his tennis skills benefit from unbelievable eye-hand coordination, fantastic agility and exceptional touch and finesse!  Coach Ciarleglio reports that Daniel has an excellent serve, an absolutely wicked slice backhand to go with a pretty big forehand.

His dad played badminton and encouraged him to play both racquets sports.  This summer Daniel will be competing in the badminton nationals in California and the Pan Am games in the Dominican Republic.  He plans to be a Business Major at Regis.  Coach Ciarleglio hopes that he gives the business to a few of Regis’ opponents next year!
