WESTON, Mass. – Regis College forward Kenny Charron (West Warwick, R.I.) has been named this week's New England Collegiate Conference Rookie of the Week, it was announced by the NECC offices this morning. Charron helped lead the Pride (1-3) to their first win of the year last week against Fisher.

Charron recorded his first collegiate points in a 13-0 win over the Falcons last Wednesday afternoon. Charron's first career goal came on a crossing pass off the foot of Sean Crawford (Framingham, Mass.). Nearly eight minutes later, the freshman scored on a pass off a free kick by teammate Chris Millington (Huntington, N.Y.). Charron rounded out the day with his first career assist on the 13th goal of the game scored by Sean O'Brien (Westerly, R.I.).

Kenny Charron and the Regis College Pride return to action on Wednesday afternoon as the Crimson and Gold travel to Henniker, N.H. to take on New England College in a 4:00 p.m. non-conference game.
