REGIS COLLEGE MEN'S SOCCER RELEASES 2010 SCHEDULE

Weston, Mass.—The Regis College athletics department released its men’s soccer 2010 schedule earlier this week. Regis will play 10 of its 18 games at home this fall. The Pride will open the season at Rivier (Sept. 3), host conference defending champion Western New England Sept. 29, and finish its season against Roger Williams (Oct. 26).

The first two matches of the season are on the road before Regis takes on five opponents at home. Of those five matches Gordon (Sept. 11) will be the Pride’s only The Commonwealth Coast Conference opponent.

Regis will host Newbury (Sept. 14) and the University of New England (Sept. 18) following the match with the Scots. The Pride will face Wentworth (Oct. 2) during the college’s homecoming week.

The Pride will return a number of experienced players from last year’s team, and even more depth with a host of incoming talent. Both will be needed as the team finishes up its regular season schedule against four conference teams starting with Curry (Oct. 16).

Its remaining three games will be against Eastern Nazarene (Oct. 19) and two equally talented programs in Colby-Sawyer (Oct. 23) and Roger Williams at seasons end.
