LAWLESS CONTROLS REGIS COLLEGE

Weston, Mass.-Junior Benjamin Radzicki (Sterling, Mass.) took little pity on his opponents Thursday night, scoring the game-winning goal for Curry College (12-2-2, 7-1-1 TCCC) over The Commonwealth Coast Conference opponent Regis College (0-14, 0-9 TCCC) 5-0 in men's soccer.

Leading the Colonels would be freshman Nicholas Lawless (Hull, Mass.) scoring two goals for Curry College. His first goal would go unassisted at 49:20, with his second goal coming a little over 12 minutes later from freshman Daniel Fisher (Longmeadow, Mass.).

Freshman Mathew Smith-Burlage (New York, NY) would save the only other shot on goal from the Pride in the second half. Making a more concerted effort, Curry College senior defender Johnjoe Hallissey (Boston, Mass.) found the back of the net at 19:23, assisted by Clayton Corto (Manchester, Conn.).

In the thirtieth minute, Sam Schwarz (Byfield, Mass.) would score the third goal of the game, assisted from Michael Connery (Narragansett, RI). The Pride's Andrew LaMacchia (Lynn, Mass.) attempted to slow the offensive attack of Curry saving 15 shots on goal. As a team, Curry College took 30 shots in total, with 20 being on goal.

Only two Regis College players would get with scoring distance to attempt shots on goal. Freshman Wade Thongsythavong (Boston, Mass.) would aim for the right side of the net, hoping for a bend back into the goal. Starting keeper, Brian Newsome (Lawrenceville, NJ) saw few shots, only having to save one shot on goal for the Colonels.
