SEDEWITZ JOINS MEN'S SOCCER PROGRAM

Weston, Mass.—Head coach Jonathan Keefe announced the addition of Billy Sedewitz (Framingham, Mass./Framingham) to the list of incoming freshmen to the Regis College men’s soccer program for fall 2010.

“He [Billy] is extremely athletic,” said Keefe. Sedewitz was a two-sport four-year player for the Framingham High basketball and soccer teams. “Sedewitz is fast, and an accurate passer,” Keefe continued.

Sedewitz was a member of the 2009 Framingham High School Bay State Conference Championship team, and a Division 1 North Semifinalist. In 2010, Sedewitz was awarded the sportsmanship award as a member of the Framingham High men’s basketball team.

In the classroom Sedewitz maintained a 3.3 grade point average during all four years of being a student-athlete for Framingham.

Regis College men’s soccer won four matches in 2009, its second year as a varsity program. Keefe will look to continue to expand the team’s incoming roster, as he has done so with signing more than four players to the team thus far.

Regis College competes in The Commonwealth Coast Conference, and offers more than 16 NCAA Division III athletic programs. More information pertaining to Regis College athletics can be found on its web site, www.GoRegisPride.com.
