Thomas Duca returns for a third season as the defensive coordinator. A former four-year starter at Waltham High School before graduating in 2005, he helped lead the Hawks to the Division 1 state final as a senior.

The following year Duca went on to play at Pace University, in Pleasantville, N.Y., before deciding to take up coaching during his senior year, starting in 2009 at Peekskill (N.Y.) High School.

Duca spent the previous two seasons as the head varsity lacrosse coach at Dedham High School along with positions at his Alma Mater for wrestling and football. He is currently employed by the Waltham Public School District in the special education department and graduated with a bachelor's degree in criminal justice from Pace.
