Collin Spillane Named GNAC's First Men's Lacrosse Player of the Week

WINTHROP, Mass. - The first Great Northeast Athletic Conference men’s lacrosse weekly honors were handed out Monday with Collin Spillane (Franklin, Mass.) named the Corvias GNAC Player of the Week after guiding the Regis (Mass.) men’s lacrosse team to 1-1 week.

The senior attacker had a stellar week for the Pride. In a season-opening loss to Dean on Saturday, Feb. 24 he scored a team-high four goals while scooping up three ground balls and adding a pair of caused turnovers.

Regis notched its first win of the season this past Wednesday with a win at Becker spearheaded by Spillane’s six-goal performance, giving him 10 on the week. He also added an assist and a pair of ground balls.

The Pride returns to action Wednesday, March 14 with a home contest against Mitchell.
