WESTON, Mass. – Regis College junior goalkeeper D.J. Barrile (Medford, Mass.) has been named the New England Collegiate Conference Player of the Week in Men's Lacrosse; it was announced on Monday afternoon.

Barrile had a huge week in between the pipes for the Crimson and Gold. The junior goalkeeper started and played in two games, compiled a 2-0 record on the week to push his season mark to 4-1, a 80.0% save percentage, made 24 saves and had a low 3.30 goals against average. Against Emerson on Wednesday, Barrile allowed out two goals in 48:57 minutes and stopped eight shots. He followed that up with a 16 save performance at Husson on Saturday.

The Pride will return to action this Wednesday, March 23rd when they welcome non-conference opponent Green Mountain to campus for a 5:00 p.m. contest.
