WESTON, Mass. – Regis College junior attack Alex Ferran (Miami, Fla.) has been named the New England Collegiate Conference Player of the Week in Men's Lacrosse; it was announced on Monday afternoon.

Alex Ferran was a key part of Regis' first win of the 2016 season. The junior attack recorded a hat-trick (three goals) during a 9-6 victory over Rivier on Saturday afternoon. Ferran also assisted on Calvin Brault's (Colchester, Vt.) tally during the second quarter.

Regis returns to action this Saturday when they travel to Saint Joseph's (Maine) for a 1:00 p.m. showdown at Deering Memorial Stadium in Portland, Maine.
