WESTON, Mass. – Regis College senior attack Peter Leighton (Wilmington, Mass.) has been named this week's New England Collegiate Conference men's lacrosse Player of the Week, while teammate Calvin Brault (Colchester, Vt.) has been named the Rookie of the Week, it was announced Monday morning.

Leighton helped lead the Pride to a 1-1 mark in games this week. Leighton scored twice and handed out six assists in a 23-8 victory over Daniel Webster. He wrapped up the week with two more goals and another assist as Regis fell to Mount Ida, 24-6.

Brault helped lead the Pride to a 1-1 mark this week. Brault scored seven goals and added three assists in the Pride's 23-8 win over Daniel Webster. He also picked up an assist in a 24-6 setback to Mount Ida.

The Crimson and Gold return to action on Saturday, April 18th with a conference game against Mitchell at 4:00 p.m. in Weston.
