WESTON, Mass. – For the second time this season, freshman attack Nicky Rodrigo (Miami, Fla.) has been named the New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) Rookie of the Week for men's lacrosse, as announced by the league's offices on Monday morning. Rodrigo put up seven points in two games this week for the Pride.

The rookie scored two goals and added a pair of assists in a 9-8, double overtime loss to Emerson on Thursday evening. Rodrigo scored two more goals and dished out an assist in a loss to Mitchell on Saturday afternoon. In seven games this season, Rodrigo currently leads his team with goals (12), assists (11), and total points (23).

Rodrigo and the Pride (2-5) will be back in action on Thursday, March 28 as they travel to Daniel Webster for a 4:00 p.m. matchup.
