WESTON, Mass. - For the second consecutive year, junior Tate Pike (Bellingham, Mass.) has been named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District® Division III Men's Basketball Team for his combined performance on the court and in the classroom, as the national organization announced the teams Tuesday, March 26.

He finished with 3.8 points and 1.6 rebounds per game, plus he compiled a 1.4 assist-to-turnover ratio, dishing out 21 assists while committing only 15 turnovers during the season.

Against eventual conference champion University of Saint Joseph Jan. 20, Pike finished with a season-high 10 points along with two rebounds. In 20 minutes on the court against New England College Jan. 30, he hit two three-pointers as he collected nine points and three rebounds in Regis' 72-67 victory over the Pilgrims that started a stretch of six victories in seven games for the Pride.

"Tate exemplifies the true student-athlete! He is an emerging leader in our program, and we are very proud of his commitment both on and off the court," Regis head men's basketball coach Nate Hager said.

In the classroom, Pike is majoring in business and currently carries a 3.67 cumulative grade point average after the Fall 2023 semester. Including Pike and three members of the Pride women's basketball team who were also selected Tuesday, 14 Regis student-athletes have received College Sports Communicators Academic All-District® honors so far in 2023-24.

The Regis College men's basketball team finished the 2023-24 season with a 14-13 overall record, including an 8-6 mark within the GNAC. The Pride defeated Dean College in the first round of the GNAC Men's Basketball Tournament, 88-61, before losing to Albertus Magnus in the quarterfinals.
