PRIDE EARN 5TH SEED, TRAVEL TO DANIEL WEBSTER TOMORROW

WESTON, Mass. – The Regis College men's basketball team earned the #5 seed in the upcoming New England Collegiate Conference Tournament to be held this week.

This is the fifth straight season under Coach Hager that the Crimson and Gold have made the conference playoffs.

The #5 Pride will travel to Daniel Webster College on Tuesday evening for a 7:00 p.m. tip-off with the Eagles. Regis and DWC split the season series this season with the Pride earning a 63-56 OT victory over the Eagles in Nashua. Sam Jean-Gilles (Melrose, Mass.) came off the bench and recorded a double-double 18 points and 10 rebounds for the Crimson and Gold while Rondell Best (Brockton, Mass.) tallied a game-high 19 points and 13 caroms in the setback.

The winner of the First Round duel will travel to Southern Vermont on Friday for a Semifinals matchup with the Mountaineers at 6:00 p.m.
