WINTHROP, Mass. - Senior Maresa Malcolm (Barrington, N.J.) of the Regis (Mass.) field hockey team has been named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference Goalkeeper of the Week.

Monday marks the third time this season and second week in a row that Malcolm has been named GNAC Goalkeeper of the Week. She previously claimed the title on September 5 and October 2.

Malcolm allowed just one goal in a 2-0 week to run the Pride’s winning streak to five. Malcolm made four saves in a shutout win over Framingham State on Tuesday before making five saves in a 2-1 overtime win over Johnson & Wales on Saturday. She had a .900 save percentage and goals against average of 0.50.

Malcolm and the Pride will be back in action on Wednesday when the team hosts New England College at Regis Stadium. The non-conference showdown is set to get under way at 7:00 p.m.
