WESTON, Mass. – Regis College freshman midfielder Aineen Callahan (Diamond Point, N.Y.) has been named the New England Collegiate Conference Rookie of the Week, it was announced Monday afternoon.

Callahan started and played in two conference contests for the Pride and helped lead the Crimson and Gold to a 2-0 mark against NECC teams. Callahan scored a hat trick during the second half of the Prides' contest against Daniel Webster on Wednesday evening. The three goals was the first multi score game of her collegiate career. This is the third time this season and second straight week that Callahan has earned rookie honors.

The Crimson and Gold return to action on Tuesday as the squad welcomes NECC rival Elms to campus for an 7:30 p.m. showdown with the Blazers.
