WESTON, Mass. – Regis College freshman midfielder Aineen Callahan (Diamond Point, N.Y.) has been named the New England Collegiate Conference Rookie of the Week, it was announced Monday afternoon.

Callahan started and played in three games for the Pride this past week. She was instrumental during Regis' 3-2 conference win over Becker on October 6th as she tallied the game winning score in overtime. This is the second time this season Callahan has earned rookie of the week honors.

The Crimson and Gold return to action on Wednesday as the squad welcomes NECC rival Daniel Webster to campus for an 7:30 p.m. showdown with the Eagles.
