WESTON, Mass. – Regis College senior goalkeeper Raegan Heck (Phillipston, Mass.) has been named this week's New England Collegiate Conference field hockey Player of the Week, while teammate Jeszy McGuire (Brimfield, Mass.) has been named the Rookie of the Week, it was announced Monday afternoon.

Heck helped backstop the Pride to a 1-1 mark this week. Heck made 16 saves and allowed only one goal in a 2-1 victory over Framingham State. She followed that up with 13 saves in a 4-0 setback to Wheaton.

McGuire scored her first career goal, the game-winner, in a 2-1 victory over Framingham State last Tuesday.

The Crimson and Gold return to action after a week layoff on Saturday, September 12th when they welcome Bay Path to campus at 1:30 p.m. for their first NECC home matchup of the season.
