WESTON, Mass.—The Regis College Athletics Department voted Morgan Mitchell (Ashburnham, Mass./Oakmont Regional) of the field hockey program its student-athlete of the week for the week of Sept. 20-26.

In her two starts during the week she was nominated, Mitchell averaged 21 shots faced saving 13 shots on goal. Her play earned Regis College a 1-1 weekly record, and captured its first conference win in three years.

Mitchell averaged a 2.0 goals allowed average in her 140-minutes of play. She will lead the Pride into another tough battle against Rivier College (Sept. 28) at 5:00 p.m.

Regis College (2-6, 1-4 TCCC) will host games on September 30 and during Regis College’s Homecoming (Oct. 2).
