Regis Cross Country Finalizes 2023 Competition Schedule

2023 REGIS COLLEGE CROSS COUNTRY SCHEDULE

WESTON, Mass. - The Regis College cross country team has finalized its competition schedule for the 2023 season, featuring five regular season meets in Massachusetts and New Hampshire heading into the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Championships and the NCAA East Regional Championships.

The Pride open the 2023 campaign at a different meet than previous years, heading to New London, N.H., for the Charger Cross Country Invitational Friday, Sept. 1, hosted by GNAC member Colby-Sawyer College. Regis returns to Northampton, Mass., the following week for the Smith College Invitational Saturday morning, Sept. 9.

On Saturday, Sept. 23, Regis will compete at Franklin Park in Boston for the 55th annual Codfish Bowl Cross Country Meet, hosted by USA Track and Field New England.

The Pride return to New Hampshire for their next two meets, beginning with the Keene State Invitational Saturday, Sept. 30. The team's final regular season meet takes place at the Hopkinton Fairgrounds in Hopkinton, N.H., for the Bruce Kirsh Cross Country Cup Friday, Oct. 13, hosted by Franklin Pierce University.

The GNAC Cross Country Championships will once again be hosted by Saint Joseph's College in Standish, Maine, Sunday, Oct. 29. Led by four runners in the top 10, the Regis women finished in second place at the 2022 GNAC Championships, while the men finished in fourth place.

The 2023 season concludes with the NCAA Division III East Regional Championships Saturday, Nov. 11, hosted by Suffolk University at Franklin Park for the second time in three years.

Men's and women's cross country are two of the intercollegiate sports sponsored by Regis College within NCAA Division III as a member of the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC).
