For Erin Kelley & Conrad Kalinowski, School Records = GNAC Weekly Honors

WINTHROP, Mass. - After breaking their own school records Saturday at the Wesleyan Indoor Invitational, Erin Kelley (Stoneham, Mass.) and Conrad Kalinowski (London, England) have received weekly awards from the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC), announced Monday afternoon, Jan. 30, by the league office.

Kelley earned her fourth career GNAC Female Track Athlete of the Week award after breaking 19 minutes in the 5000 meter run Saturday with a time of 18:55.66, crossing the finish line in second place at Wesleyan. The time was over 15 seconds faster than the previous school record she established just last week at Tufts University. Kelley now tops the league performance list in the 5000 meter run, plus she is second in the one mile run and third in the 3000 meter run.

Kalinowski qualified for the New England Division III Indoor Track and Field Championships with his school record performance in the pole vault Saturday. He won the pole vault at the Wesleyan Indoor Invitational by clearing 4.15 meters (13' 7.25"), two inches higher than the previous standard he established two weeks ago at Brandeis. Kalinowski also posted season-best marks in the shot put at 9.43 meters (30' 11.25") and the 200 meter dash at 25.37 seconds, winning his heat in the process.

The Regis College track and field team is preparing for the 2023 Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Indoor Track and Field Championships, once again taking place at the Boston University Track and Tennis Center Sunday, Feb. 12, starting at 11 a.m.
