WESTON, Mass. – The Regis College athletics department is joining the campus community in gearing up for Regis Fest, the Homecoming and Family Weekend scheduled for Sept. 23-24.

The Pride will be hosting athletic competitions all day Saturday, Sept. 24, starting with the women's volleyball team facing Dean College at 10 a.m. at Higgins Court within the Regis Athletic Center. At 11 a.m. at Regis Stadium, the field hockey team welcomes Dean College for a Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) contest.

The women's tennis team starts its important league match against Eastern Nazarene College at 12 p.m. at the Regis Tennis Courts. Back at Regis Stadium, the women's soccer team clashes with defending GNAC champion Johnson and Wales University, with kickoff scheduled for 1:30 p.m.

The women's volleyball team wraps up a conference tri-match by taking on Albertus Magnus College at 2 p.m. at Higgins Court. The competition schedule concludes with the men's soccer team hosting University of Saint Joseph at Regis Stadium beginning at 4:30 p.m.

There are also events geared towards Regis alumni, including a meet and greet hosted by the swimming and diving program on the deck outside the Regis Pool from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. Starting at 1 p.m., alumni athletes and friends are invited to an affinity gathering on the softball field that is scheduled to last through the rest of the afternoon. There is no cost to attend this gathering, and the first 100 alumni to arrive will receive a free T-shirt!

After the men's soccer match, alumni from the Regis women's lacrosse program are invited to Regis Stadium for an alumni game set to start at approximately 6:30 p.m. Other potential events sponsored by the athletics department taking place during Regis Fest will be announced ahead of time.

There will be a family BBQ taking place under the tent set up outside the playing area at Regis Stadium from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. It is free, but advance registration is encouraged at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/regis-fest-2022-homecoming-family-weekend-tickets-411487970597 to ensure the best experience for the community.
