Regis Volleyball to Host Summer Clinics, Prospect Days

WESTON, Mass. – The Regis College volleyball program will host two individual clinics, one team clinic, and two prospect days, one for boys and one for girls, during the upcoming summer at Higgins Court on campus.

The Regis College Volleyball Clinics are two-day programs open to players of all skill levels entering grades 7-12 taking place July 12-13 and August 8-9. Each clinic day will comprise of two skill-related volleyball sessions, one in the morning and one in the afternoon, as well as activities with current Regis Pride volleyball players in the early afternoon. The price is $350 per person and includes two Regis College Volleyball shirts.

The Pride Prospect Day for boys entering their junior or senior year of high school is scheduled for Friday, July 29, starting with check-in at 9 a.m. and running through 4 p.m. For girls about to start their junior or senior year of high school, the Pride Prospect Day will take place Friday, August 12, in the same timeframe. The cost to attend the Pride Prospect Day is $150 and includes a Regis College Volleyball shirt.

These one-day advanced clinics will include technical training and game-like situations as well as competitive gameplay. Directed toward student-athletes who want to experience a day in the life of a Regis College volleyball player, the clinics will also include a campus tour and a question and answer session with current members of the Pride volleyball team.

The Regis College Volleyball Team Clinic is set for Saturday, August 13, with club and high school teams welcome for a packed day of competitive and fun volleyball. Besides technical training, game-like situations, and competitive gameplay, the day will also include a question and answer session with Pride head coach Josh Anderson, assistant coach John Carroll, and current players. The price to attend is $75 per person.

The Regis College women's volleyball team posted a 23-8 overall record in 2021, the second-highest win total in program history, and advanced to the semifinals of the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Tournament. The Pride men's volleyball squad collected 12 victories during the 2022 season and qualified for its first GNAC Tournament since joining the league in 2017-18.
