VOLLEYBALL ANNOUNCES INCOMING CLASSJuly 10, 2015The Regis Women’s volleyball program continues its national recruitment with nine incoming freshmen for the fall of 2015. The incoming class includes athletes from Massachusetts, Connecticut, Texas, California, Puerto Rico and Oregon.

REGIS VOLLEYBALL HOSTS CHARITY TOURNAMENTMarch 26, 2015The Regis College men’s and women’s volleyball teams hosted a charity volleyball tournament Thursday night to raise money for Walk So They Can Run, an annual walk to benefit the Bakhita House in Boston.

REGIS PLACES 20 ON FALL NECC ALL-ACADEMIC TEAMJanuary 22, 201520 members of the Regis College fall teams have been named to the New England Collegiate Conference Fall All-Academic Team, announced on Wednesday night. The Pride had at least one athlete recognized in every fall sport the College sponsors.

POLAR BEARS DOWN PRIDE IN NCAA FIRST ROUNDNovember 14, 2014Bowdoin College got off to a fast start and never looked back Friday, sweeping Regis College 3-0 (25-11, 25-11, 25-17) in the quarterfinals of the NCAA Div. III New England Regional on the campus of Williams College.

Wentworth defeated Newbury, 3-1, in the other match of the day.

PRIDE SET PROGRAM RECORD AND MOVE TO TOP OF CONFERENCE WITH SWEEP OF LESLEYOctober 30, 2014The Regis College Women’s Volleyball Team took over sole possession of first place in the New England Collegiate Conference with a 3-0 (27-25, 25-19, 25-22) sweep of conference rival Lesley University tonight at Buckingham, Browne, and Nichols. With the win, the Pride improve to 20-8 and a perfect 7-0 in NECC play. The loss is Lesley’s first blemish in NECC play as they fall to 15-4 overall and 6-1 in the conference.

The Pride improve to 19-8 overall and a perfect 6-0 in the NECC, while the Mariners fall to 5-15 and 1-5 in league matches.

PRIDE SPLIT WITH MOUNTAINEERS AND LANCERS IN TRI-MATCHOctober 04, 2014Regis College defeated Southern Vermont College, 3-0, in a New England Collegiate Conference women’s volleyball matchup on Saturday afternoon, and followed that up with a 3-0 setback to Worcester State University in the nightcap. The Lancers defeated the Mountaineers, 3-0, in the middle match of the day.

PRIDE SWEEP TRI-MATCH FROM GATORS AND BEARSSeptember 27, 2014Regis College picked up a pair of non-conference wins on Saturday afternoon, defeating Pine Manor College, 3-0, and St. Joseph’s College of Brooklyn, 3-0. Pine Manor used a 3-1 score to defeat SJC in the middle match. Regis improves to 13-7 this season, while Pine Manor moves to 4-10 overall, and the Bears drop to 3-8.

CONNOLLY NAMED ECAC AND NECC ROOKIE OF THE WEEKSeptember 22, 2014Regis College freshman Nicole Connolly (San Mateo, Calif.) has been named both the ECAC New England and New England Collegiate Conference Rookie of the Week in women’s volleyball, it was announced on Monday morning. This is the second time Connolly has achieved ROTW honors this season.

The Pride move to 10-7 on the year with the split.

HUSKIES POUNCE PRIDE, 3-0September 18, 2014Freshman outside hitter Jessica Williamson (Goffstown, N.H.) had a match-high 18 kills and added six digs as the University of Southern Maine women’s volleyball team fended off visiting Regis College 3-0 (25-21, 25-21, 25-21) in a non-conference match Thursday evening at the Warren Hill Gymnasium. With the loss, The Pride dropped to 9-6 on the year and the win improved the Huskies’ overall record to 9-2.
