Endicotts Elyse Barbour (Greenville, R.I.) had eight kills on just 11 swings with no errors (.727) as the Gulls cruised past visiting Regis College, 3-0, in The Commonwealth Coast Conference quarterfinals on Tuesday night in Beverly, Mass. Endicott posted set scores of 25-15, 25-11 and 25-14 to advance to Thursdays semifinal action against Roger Williams University, who defeated the Univ. of New England by the score of 3-0.

Endicotts Steph Wiese (Higganum, Conn.) notched her sixth kill of the night in the second set to become the programs all-time kill leader, as she helped the Gulls ease past TCCC opponent Regis College, 3-0, on Tuesday night in Beverly, Mass. Wiese finished the night with six kills, improving the new career record to 1,306. Wiese surpasses former program-leader Sarah Moores (Class of 2006) mark of 1,305.

PRIDE EARN WIN OVER PINE MANORSeptember 22, 2009CHESTNUT HILL, MA A speedy, hard-serving Regis team picked up a 3-0 win in Pine Manor Gym Tuesday night, besting the Gators 3-0 in non-conference action. Much of the night belonged to Regis Alanna Delrose (Watertown, MA/Trinity Catholic), who quickly established her presence on the Prides second serve of the opening game. With Delrose at the serve, the Pride (5-9, 0-2 CCC) opened a 9-1 lead, later closing out a Game 1 rout with five consecutive points on Delrose serves in the 25-8 win.
