CHICOPEE, Mass. - Despite a record-breaking day and plenty of outstanding performances by the Regis College men's and women's swimming and diving teams, Elms College came out victorious on Saturday afternoon. The Blazers defeated the Pride, 141-82 on the men's side, while the Regis women fell just short, 138-124.

Sophomore Amanda Iandoli (Mansfield, Mass.) and junior Shannan O'Neil (Lowell, Mass.) led the way for the women after notching two first place individual finishes apiece, as well as teaming up with sophomore Lucia Llorente Ruiz (Newton, Mass.) and senior Megan Kennelly (Milford, Mass.) for a win in the 200 Medley Relay (2:20.32).

The record-breaking trend continued for the Pride men, as freshman Kiet Luong (Malden, Mass.) broke Elms' pool records in the 200 Freestyle and 50 Butterfly, and junior Alex Graf (Newton, Mass.) broke the Elms' pool record in the 50 Freestyle.

Luong won the 200 Free and the 50 Fly after putting up times of 1:33.63 and 26.63, respectively. He also won the 400 Freestyle with a time of 4:50.22. Graf was the top finisher in the 50 Free after a time of 24.82.
