Michael Webber was hired as the head women's soccer coach in 2016 and is entering his sixth year at Regis.

For the second straight year, the team qualified for the GNAC Tournament in 2019. Rachel Kelly earned Second Team All-GNAC honors, while Kaylee Francis received Third Team All-GNAC recognition. 

In 2018, Webber led a young team with just two seniors to a 10-7 overall record, including a 7-5 mark within the GNAC to finish in a tie for fifth place, qualifying for the GNAC Tournament, after being picked to finish 10th in the preseason coaches poll. Three players earned All-GNAC recognition for their play on the field.

Webber has also emphasized academics within his squad, as his team received the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award in 2017, 2018, and 2019. For three consecutive years (2019, 2020, 2021), the team has received the Judith W. Burling Team Award for Academic Excellence for having the highest weighted team cumulative grade point average. 

In just his first season, he doubled the team's win total from the year before and finished third in the NECC with a 5-3-1 record.

Webber joined Regis after 11 seasons at Division III power Allegheny College (Meadville, Pa.) and becomes the 10th coach in the 32-year history of the program. Overall, Webber brings 19 years of coaching experience having been the women's head coach at Worcester State (2001-05) and Sutton High School (Mass.) before that.

Webber took over the reins at Allegheny in 2005 and continued the rich history of Gator women's soccer. During his tenure, he amassed a 109-75-24 record which included eight winning seasons. After a pair of 10-win campaigns to start his run with the Gators, Webber began a run of four straight conference tournament appearances, three conference titles and three NCAA Tournament berths, more than any coach in program history.

In 2013, the Gators enjoyed one of the most successful campaigns in program history, earning a share of the NCAC regular season title before winning the program's first NCAC Tournament. It was also the fourth conference championship in program history and was followed by another NCAA Tournament bid. Six of his players earned all-conference recognition, highlighted by two first-team selections and one NSCAA all-region tab.

2014 rivaled the previous season's success as the team captured its second straight conference title and, while falling in the NCAC Tournament title game, received an at-large berth to the NCAA Tournament, the team's second straight NCAA appearance. The 15-6 overall record was the most wins since 2003.

Prior to coming to Allegheny, Webber had a successful stint at Worcester State where he led the Lancers to a school-record tying 12 wins, including a victory over 12th-ranked Lynchburg College. That squad went on to capture the first MASCAC Tournament championship in school history and received an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament. Overall, Webber finished with a 33-31-5 record at Worcester State, ranking him second all-time on the school's wins list.

Webber is a 1988 graduate of the College of the Holy Cross (Worcester, Mass.) where he was a two-time league player of the year as a goalkeeper and three-time all-league selection.
