PROVIDENCE, R.I.- Ori Attridge (Westwood, Mass.) made a career-high 17 saves, but her effort was not enough as the Regis College women's soccer team fell to Johnson & Wales in a Great Northeast Athletic Conference contest, 2-1, Wednesday evening at the Scotts Miracle-Gro Athletic Complex.

The Pride were unable to put a shot on net until just over 16 minutes remaining in the first half when Rachel Kelly (Whitman, Mass.) was able to direct a shot at Colleen Lynch, who made the save.

The Wildcats struck with 14:41 remaining in the first half when Jordan Restivo received a pass from Olivia Cairrao, and then Restivo fired a shot over the head of Attridge from 30 yards out.

The Pride came back after the goal, earning a corner kick on the left side of the net. The Pride corner went over the Wildcat defenders, but the Pride were unable to put a shot on target.

In the second half, Regis tied the game after a shot by Kelly was saved and deflected into the crossbar. Kaylee Francis (Millis, Mass.) then collected the rebound and put the ball into the lower right corner of the net.

With just over 1:30 remaining, Restivo was able to run past the Pride defenders, forcing Attridge to dive to her left to tip the ball just wide of the net, helping Regis force overtime.

While the Pride were unable to register a shot in the first overtime period, Attridge stopped all three shots she faced on net, doing her part to force a second overtime.

With 6:00 remaining in the second overtime, Cairrao stole the ball from the Pride, turned, and fired the ball right under the crossbar to seal the game for the Wildcats.

Johnson & Wales (12-5, 10-0 GNAC) will face Saint Joseph's (Me.) Saturday, Oct. 26, before they round out the regular season against Anna Maria Wednesday, Oct. 30.

Regis (7-9, 4-6 GNAC) will head up to Vermont Saturday, Oct. 26, to take on Norwich in a 7 p.m. match. The Pride then play Emmanuel Wednesday, Oct. 30, at 7 p.m. to close out the regular season.
