    First basemen Alyssa McKinnon (Raynham, Mass.) and third basemen Allison Caloggero (Medford, Mass.) of the Regis College Softball team were named to the New England Collegiate Conference All-Conference team it was announced on Monday morning.
  • BLAZERS RALLY LATE TO DOWN PRIDE IN FIRST ROUND

    The Elms College softball team used a five-run sixth inning to rally past visiting Regis College, 7-3, in their first round game of the New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) playoffs at Cheryl R. Condon Field Tuesday afternoon. With the win, the Blazers improved to 17-12 on the season, while Regis wraps their campaign at 8-18 overall.

    The Regis College Softball team dropped the senior day doubleheader against New England Collegiate Conference rival Becker College 4-1 and 14-1 – Five innings on Saturday afternoon at Regis Stadium. The Pride finish the year at 8-17, 7-11 NECC and with the victories the Hawks improve to 15-12, 11-5 NECC.

    The Regis College softball team dropped a doubleheader against conference foe Elms College 8-2 and 9-1 on Thursday night at a cold Regis Stadium. With the losses, the Pride fall to 8-15, 7-9 NECC and with the victories, the Blazers improve to 14-12, 13-3 NECC.
  • LESLEY BATS FUEL TWINBILL SWEEP OF PRIDE

    Lesley University scored 22 runs and had 27 hits as the Lynx swept Regis College in a New England Collegiate Conference doubleheader on Tuesday night. The Lynx (12-13, 9-3 NECC) won game one, 12-4, in five innings before rallying for a 10-3 win in the nightcap over the Pride (8-13, 7-7 NECC).

    Allison Caloggero (Medford, Mass.) combined to go 7-for-9 at the plate and knocked in four runs as Regis swept host Daniel Webster 10-1 and 15-0 in a pair of NECC contests Sunday at Eagle Field.

    Regis College and Newbury College split a New England Collegiate Conference softball doubleheader on Wednesday night in Weston, Mass. The Pride (6-9, 5-3 NECC) won the opener 3-2, before the Nighthawks (9-9, 4-4 NECC) grabbed a 10-2 win in six innings in the night cap.

    The Regis College softball team improved their win streak to four games after sweeping the twinbill against Wheelock College 24-0 and 27-1 in five innings. With the victories the Pride improve to 5-4 and remain undefeated in NECC play (4-0). The defeats drop the Wildcats to 2-6, 0-4 NECC on the season.

    Regis College sophomore Rachel DesRochers (Westford, Mass.) has been named the New England Collegiate Conference Player of the Week while teammate Alexa NeJaime (Sandisfield, Mass.) has been named the Rookie of the Week in Softball; it was announced on Monday morning.
  • REGIS TAKES TWO AT SOUTHERN VERMONT

    After a long layoff, the Regis College softball team returned to action showing no signs of rust in their sweep of the Southern Vermont Mountaineers during New England Collegiate Conference action on Thursday afternoon at the Adirondack Sports Complex in Queensbury, N.Y. The Crimson and Gold took the first game 5-2 and then beat the Mountaineers handily in game two 14-3.

  • PRIDE DROP PAIR IN MYRTLE BEACH

    The Regis College softball team suffered two defeats during double-header action on the final day of their spring break trip in Myrtle Beach. The first loss was a 2-1 setback to Neumann University during the first game and during the second game, the Pride fell 6-3 to Gwynedd Mercy University 6-3. With both losses, the Crimson and Gold fall to 1-4 on the campaign and with the victories, the Knights improve to 4-0 and the Griffins move to 4-1.

    The Regis College softball team earned their first victory of the season after beating non-conference opponent Rosemont College 8-0 in five innings on Tuesday morning. The win, was the Pride’s first win on their spring break trip and improved their record to 1-2. With the loss, the Ravens fall to 0-2 on the year.
