Nikki Naccarato is in her second year as the assistant coach for the men's and women's volleyball teams here at Regis. Naccarato joined the program after a four year stint as a setter and libero with the women's volleyball team at Division II American International College in Springfield, Mass.

In her first year as assistant coach of Regis, she helped coach the women's volleyball squad to its second consecutive NECC championship, earning an automatic bid to the NCAA tournament. Naccarato also helped lead the men's program to the conference semifinals.

The former Yellow Jacket graduated with a bachelor's of science in psychology while also minoring in sports administration. Prior to graduation, she completed her thesis on the "effects of watching game footage on NCAA student-athlete motivation, confidence and anxiety.

A dual sport athlete, Naccarato also played three years of lacrosse for AIC as a low defender. During her senior year, she held two leadership roles on both squads as she was named a team captain for the volleyball team and was a team leader for the women's lacrosse team.

Naccarato was also involved in student life at AIC as she was the President of the Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) for three years and is currently a member of the college's alumni board.

The Wellington, Fla. native is enrolled in the master's degree program of organizational and professional communications at Regis.
