Kourtney Bonsey took over as head coach of the men's and women's cross country and track & field teams in 2016. The 2019-20 track & field season will be her fourth at the helm of the Pride program.

Led by GNAC Track Athlete of the Year Matt Malone and GNAC Field Athlete of the Year Dan LaFlamme, the Pride finished third at the 2019 GNAC Men's Outdoor Track and Field Championships.

In 2017-18, the Pride hosted and won the inaugural GNAC Men's Outdoor Track & Field Championships. Numerous personal bests and school records were set during that season with 12 athletes qualifying for the New England Championships.

Bonsey came to Regis after a successful one-year stint at Wellesley College. She helped the cross country team qualify for the NCAA Championships for the second straight season and finish 19th overall. The team ran to a fifth-place finish in the Northeast region to qualify for the NCAA's.

In the spring of 2015, primarily coaching the distance runners, Bonsey aided in the tutelage of Mary Keenan who earned Division III All-America honors after a Top 10 finish in the 5000m at the NCAA Track & Field Championships.

From 2013-15 she was a graduate assistant coach at Regis for the cross country and track & field teams while earning her masters in special education.

A four-year scholar-athlete at Division I University of Maine, Bonsey captained the team during her senior season in 2012-13. She placed fourth in the 10,000m at the 2012 America East Conference Outdoor Championships and eighth in the 5,000m at the 2012 America East Indoor Championships.

In addition, she was a student-athlete mentor and a tutor in Educational Psychology at Maine, graduating in 2013 with a degree in English.

She is also a USTFCCCA Level I Certified Coach.
