As a Senior (2019-20): Academic All-GNAC
Indoor: All-GNAC ... Competed in eight meets ... Finished third in one mile run at GNAC Indoor Championships (2/16) w/school-record time of 4:37.90 ... Finished eighth in 5000 meter run at USATF New England Indoor Championships (2/23) in school-record time of 15:24.81 ... Also broke individual school records in 1000 meter run (2:41.81) and 3000 meter run (9:14.74) as well as anchoring distance medley relay squad to school-record time of 11:30.85 at Springfield College (1/25).

As a Sophomore (2018-19): Academic All-GNAC
Indoor: Finished fifth in 800 meter run (2:06.93) at Bowdoin Invite IV. Outdoor: Finished sixth in 800 meter run (2:19.71) and 10th in 1500 meter run (4:41.97) at Wesleyan Spring Classic ... Posted collegiate-best time of 56.41 seconds in 400 meter run at Penmen Relays. 

As a Freshman (2017-18): Indoor: Placed 24th (4:39.78) at the USATF Indoor Championships. Outdoor: Had a pair of silver finishes at the GNAC Championships in the 1500 meter (4:21.91) and 5000 meter (17:26.61)...placed second in the 5000 meter (16:49.07) at the ECSU Invitational.

Prep:
JJ is a 2017 graduate of Platt Technical High School in Milford, Conn...ran three years of varsity track and field and one year of varsity cross country for the Panthers...was named All-Constitution State Conference in cross country as a senior...led his cross country team to its first CSC title in 25 years as a senior

JJ was born in New Haven, Conn...is majoring in exercise science...the son of Jon Pedersen Sr. and Kristen Pedersen...has one younger brother, Michael
