MEN'S TENNIS TO PLAY SEAHAWKS AND LEOPARDS

Weston, Mass.—The Regis College men’s tennis team will be playing two matches this week. The First match will be Wednesday (Apr. 20) against Salve Regina University. The visiting Seahawks enter the contest with a record of 4-11 and are 4-5 in The Commonwealth Coast Conference. The Pride enters the contest with an overall record of 1-15 and 1-8 in TCCC play. The second match of the week will be Thursday (Apr. 21) against Wentworth Institute of Technology. The Leopards enter the contest with an overall record of 5-6 and are 4-5 in TCCC play.

The Pride will look for leadership from Andy White (Bozeman, Mont./Bozeman) who has played well in the past few matches for the Pride. Co-captain Matthew Smolko (Pelham, NH/Lowell Catholic) will look to have a solid performance in the upcoming matches.  Jeffrie Parrish (Framingham, Mass./Framingham) will also look to step up his game for the Pride and get his second win in singles of the season.

The first match against the Seahawks is set for a 4:00 p.m. start and will be played at Regis.

The Wentworth mach will be played at the Sportsman’s Tennis Club and is set for a 4:00 p.m.
