12 SWIMMERS NAMED GNAC ALL-ACADEMIC

BOSTON, Mass. – Regis College had 12 members of its swimming and diving team named to the Great Northeast Athletic Conference All-Academic Team on Tuesday afternoon.

The squad consists of 765 student-athletes from 12 full-time and 13 associate member institutions that have met the following criteria in maintaining a 3.25 cumulative grade point average, completed at least one full season of competition at a GNAC institution and is of sophomore status academically.

On the women's side, Mikayla Andrade (Norton, Mass.), Haley Bowen (Litchfield, N.H.), Stacy Burns (Waltham, Mass.), Laura Holland (Mansfield, Mass.), Amanda Iandoli (Mansfield, Mass.), Anastasia Kudsi (Dover-Foxcroft, Maine), Kelly Leahy (Braintree, Mass.), Jane Nguyen (Dorchester, Mass.), and Shanna O'Neil (Lowell, Mass.) were named to the All-Academic Team.

Three male swimmers were honored, including Alex Graf (Newton, Mass.), Sean O'Brien (Westerly, R.I.), and Greg Sarantakis (Lowell, Mass.).
