HALL OF FAME NOMINATION FORM (Nominations Closed for Induction Class of 2019)

WESTON, Mass. – The Regis College athletics department is now accepting nominations for candidates to be inducted into the Regis Athletics Hall of Fame.

For the first time since 2011, a new group of honorees will be inducted into the Regis College Athletics Hall of Fame. The induction ceremony will take place during Regis Fest weekend, Friday evening, Sept. 27, in the Upper Student Center on campus.

Candidates may be nominated in one of five categories. The Student-Athlete category encompasses any alumna or alumnus who actively participated in athletics, bringing recognition and honor to Regis College through their outstanding achievements as a student-athlete. The student-athlete must have graduated by 2014 in order to be eligible for this round of consideration.

Any team that has brought recognition and honor to Regis College by its outstanding achievements is eligible to be nominated in the Team category as long as five years has passed since the time of the accomplishment. A team that was instrumental to the growth and further development of the sport at Regis can be nominated in the category of Team of Distinction.

A worthy staff member of the Regis College Athletics program who served within the department for at least five years and has not been an employee of the college for at least one year can be considered in the Administrator/Staff category.

Finally, the Special Recognition category is available for any other individual who does not meet one of the aforementioned categories but has made outstanding contributions to Regis College Athletics, helping bring excellence and distinction to Regis and the athletics program.

Nominations must be received by the Regis College athletics department by Monday, July 15, 2019 by going to the following website and filling out the nomination form as completely as possible: https://www.goregispride.com/nominate.

Currently, 19 individuals and three teams (1995-96 women's basketball, 1995-96 softball, and 1996-97 women's basketball) are part of the Regis College Athletics Hall of Fame.
