WESTON, Mass. – Registration is now open to participate as a golfer and/or a sponsor in the 18th Annual Regis College Golf Tournament, benefitting Regis College Pride Athletics and Student Life, at the Marlborough Country Club Tuesday, June 25, 2019.
Students come to Regis to launch successful careers and change the world. But often it's their athletic and student life experiences that truly shape their character. Regis' 20-sport NCAA Division III athletic program instills the values of team work, dedication, and perseverance. Student leaders engage the campus in meaningful and fun activities that create a vibrant community. Nearly all Regis students participate in service locally, nationally, or internationally.
Support of the Regis Golf Tournament will improve athletic facilities, provide student leadership opportunities, and contribute to service-learning trips around the globe. For example, thanks to the generosity of golfers and sponsors at last year's tournament, the athletics weight room was completed, giving Pride student-athletes a dedicated space for strength and conditioning, leading to improved performance in competition.
Sponsorship opportunities are available at several levels, or join the Regis staff and coaches on the course as a golfer. Regis graduates within the last 10 years (2009-2019) receive a discount if they register to golf.
On June 25, the event will begin with registration at 9 a.m., followed by a 10 a.m. shotgun start. Golfers will receive a barbeque lunch midway through their round. There will be a cocktail hour starting at 3 p.m. along with registration for those who purchased dinner only. The dinner at the course is scheduled for 4 p.m., followed by an awards presentation and raffle drawings.
