Strong Performances for Women’s Track and Field

HOLDERNESS, N.H. – The Pride closed out the fall semester Saturday at the Plymouth State Winter Classic hosted by the Panthers. 

In the 400 meter dash, Lourdes Jean-Louis finished in fifth place with a time of 1:07.82 just ahead of teammate Cassandra Froio who finished sixth with a time of 1:08.55 which set a new personal record in the event. 

Liz Ksepka finished in second place in the weight throw where she set a new career best at a distance of 12.94 meters (42' 5.5").  Elliana Boebel would set a new personal record finishing with a distance of 12.53 meters (41' 1.5") placing third, and Elisabeth Cooke would finish in fifth with a distance of 10.84 meters (35' 6.75").

The Pride throwers would also place two in the top ten in the shot put with Cooke placing seventh on a throw of 10.21 meters (33' 6") and Boebel placing ninth with a throw of 9.85 meters (32' 0.25").

The Pride return to competition on Saturday Jan. 12 at the Reggie Poyau Invitational at Brandeis.
