WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. - Keegan Duguay (Watertown, Mass.) cracked the top 8 in the 100 meter hurdle prelims to qualify for Saturday's final round to highlight the first day of competition for the Regis (Mass.) track and field team at the Division III New England Track & Field Championships hosted by Williams College.

Duguay, who qualified for the championships at her first meet of the season and competing in her second championships, ran the race in 15.93 seconds to move to Saturday's final round.

Bernice Boateng (Danielson, Conn.) was not fortunate enough to participate in tomorrow's final round of the 100 meter dash. Competing in her first championships after running a qualifying time at the Regis Pride Classic last week, Boateng sprinted to an 11th-place finish with a time of 12.79.
