SALAMONE NETS TWO IN PRIDE ROUT
Sam Salamone (Milford, Mass.) scored a pair of goals to lead the Regis College women’s soccer team to a 4-0 victory over Becker College on Saturday afternoon. The Pride improve to 7-6-2 overall and 4-2-1 in the NECC with the win.

LEICESTER, Mass. – Sam Salamone (Milford, Mass.) scored a pair of goals to lead the Regis College women's soccer team to a 4-0 victory over Becker College on Saturday afternoon. The Pride improve to 7-6-2 overall and 4-2-1 in the NECC with the win.
Salamone struck in the 14th minute for the Pride off a feed from Jasmin Vivar (Attleboro, Mass.). Adena Joseph (Stoughton, Mass.) stretched the Pride lead to 2-0 in the 23rd minute on a pass from Kristen Abreu (Woburn, Mass.).
Abreu tallied in the second half on an unassisted goal to make it a 3-0 advantage for the Pride, and Salamone potted her second goal of the game – and fifth of the season – to make it a 4-0 game in the 83rd minute.
Rachel Gagnon (Ashford, Conn.) picked up her sixth shutout of the season and made a pair of saves on the night.
Regis hits the road on Wednesday afternoon when they take on Newbury College at 3:00 p.m. in a New England Collegiate Conference match.
