Courtney Duggan is entering her 11th year as head coach of the Regis women's lacrosse team.

Duggan is the winningest coach in Regis women's lacrosse history and is closing in on her 100th career victory with 93 wins after the 2023 season. She picked up her 50th career conference victory with a 16-11 victory over rival Lasell April 15, 2023. 

In 2019, Duggan led the Pride to the program's best overall record at 15-3, including a 10-1 GNAC mark to finish second in the regular season standings. Regis advanced to the finals of the GNAC Tournament and boasted seven All-GNAC honoress, including the Defender of the Year (Meghan Sargent) and the Goalkeeper of the Year (Brittany McPherson). Duggan was named GNAC Coach of the Year for her efforts. 

During her tenure the Pride won four NECC Championships, making three NCAA Division III Tournament appearances. The team moved into the GNAC starting in 2018 and immediately became a contender in that league, finishing in a tie for third in the regular season standings at 7-3 as part of a 13-5 overall record.

Duggan guided the Pride to seven consecutive seasons (2013-2019) with 12 wins or more, including a program-record 15 wins in both 2017 and 2019. She was voted by her peers as NECC Coach of the Year in 2014, '15, and '17, as well as IWLCA Pilgrim Region Coach of the Year in 2014.

Duggan spent the first six seasons of her coaching career in the NESCAC. As the assistant coach for Tufts University, Duggan was a part of a Jumbos coaching staff that led the squad to a pair of NCAA Tournament berths in 2009 and '11, as well as the 2009 NESCAC regular season championship, and NESCAC Tournament berths from 2008-13.

A native of Billerica, Mass., Duggan played her collegiate lacrosse for Division II Stonehill College in Easton, Mass. During her playing career Stonehill won a NCAA national titles in 2003 and '05, including an undefeated 21-0 senior season. Stonehill also earned a trip to the national title game in 2002. Duggan, a 2011 Stonehill Athletic Hall of Fame inductee, won four-straight Northeast-10 Conference titles as well.

For the past three years, Duggan has also coached for the Bay State Bullets, a high school and youth lacrosse club that encourages players from Metro North and Metro East regions in Massachusetts to develop their lacrosse skills.

In addition, for the fall 2021 season, she served as interim field hockey coach.

Duggan is a 2005 graduate of Stonehill College with a bachelor’s degree in American studies and a minor in history. She earned her master's degree in sport, fitness, and recreation leadership from DePaul University in 2021. She currently resides in Melrose, Mass.
