WESTON, Mass. - The Regis (Mass.) women's basketball team stayed perfect in New England Collegiate Conference play on Thursday night, as the Pride took care of Mitchell College by a score of 83-52.

With the win, the Pride improves to 12-5 (11-0 NECC) on the season, while Mitchell's loss drops them to 5-12 (5-5 NECC).

Regis junior guard Shannon Hayes (Billerica, Mass.) matched a career-high with 10 rebounds, which paired with 13 points for her second career double-double. Senior Amanda Hawkesworth (Abington, Mass.) matched Hayes with 13 points of her own to tie for the game-high.

One game after setting a career high with 13 points in Tuesday's win over Wheelock, junior Brandi Bonneau (Derry, N.H.) finished just shy of tying her personal best by adding 12 points for the Pride. Her classmate, forward Brittany Stone (West Bridgewater, Mass.) matched Bonneau with 12 points of her own.

A balanced Mitchell attack saw three Mariners in double figures in the loss. Senior Jessica Shepherd (West Hartford, Conn.) led the way with 12 points, with sophomore Alexandra Kolb (Port St. Lucie, Fla.) and freshman Camille Staggers (New Haven, Conn.) behind her with 11 and 10 points respectively.

Regis dominated on the boards all night, out-rebounding the visitors 51-31 on the evening. Of the Pride's rebounds, 15 were offensive boards to Mitchell's 25 defensive boards. The Pride clicked from beyond the arc on the evening as well, hitting 9-of-20 shots from three. The team's nine three-pointers is tied for the second highest total of the season.

Next up for the Pride, they will continue their brief three-game homestand by hosting Daniel Webster on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. The Mariners return to action the same day, taking on Elms on the road at 4:00 p.m.
