PRIDE FALL TO LIONS 3-0

WESTON, Mass.-The Regis men's volleyball team fell to Emerson College Tuesday night at the Brown-Plofker Gym by the score of 3-0 (25-14, 25-11, 25-12). The loss puts the Pride to 1-11 overall on the season, while the Lions move to 7-6.

The Pride was led by junior Andrew Carroll (Natick, Mass.) who tallied a team high of seven kills and notched seven digs.  Freshman David Amicangioli (Belmont, Mass.) chipped in with 16 assists and 10 digs on the game. The Pride's defense was led by Drew Wilder (Brockton, Mass.) and Doug Dunbar (Danvers, Mass.) who combined to tally two blocks.

The Lions were led on offense by Connor Burton who tallied a team high in kills with nine. Stephen Selnick was the main setup man for the Lions backcourt. Selnick finished the game with a team high of 20 assists.  Nadaz Swarttz and Nate Chivers led the Lions on defense combining to tally 10 blocks on the match

The Pride returns to action Monday when they host Albertus Magus College at 7:00 p.m. The Lions next match is against Wentworth on Thursday at 7:00 p.m.
